I like the Pimsleur Quick & Simple Italian 2nd Edition!

There is nothing in writing. It is all audio, as it should be I think.

I am an American who lived in Denmark years ago and learning Danish from meeting people on the street and in every day life was definitely the best way to learn a language - all audio - nothing written down - just out of necessity you learn and it is more natural.

So I like this approach of not seeing anything written - even my 90-year-old parents are enjoying it -

I recommend the CDs very much - it is well done the way they repeat and repeat until you really get it -

I finally understand some Italian - imagine that!

Val ;-)

In summary, I would recommend The Pimsleur Course (Italian) to a friend.
